Van Driver- Collections and Deliveries
We are currently looking for a Community Equipment Technician Driver in the Hove area
You will be responsible for the delivery, installation and collection of healthcare equipment within people's homes across East Sussex, in partnership with the NHS. This equipment ranges from crutches to walking frames to more complex equipment e.g. hoists and beds.
Full training will be given, after which you will be involved in the servicing and repair of equipment as well be able to carry out adaptations in customers homes such as installation of grab rails.

We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous relevant experience within a fast paced environment is preferable however full training will be provided
- A full UK driving licence, held for a minimum three years
- Previous van driving experience is preferable
- You must be able to load and unload goods, some of which may be heavy or awkward to carry
- Excellent customer service and professional communication skills are essential
- Due to the adaptation side of the role, basic DIY skills would be advantageous
- Practical skills preferred and mechanical aptitude an advantage

- This role participates in an emergency on-call rota and so flexibility is required
Hours of the role
- 40 hours per week, Monday and Friday 08:00-16:30 or Saturday to Wednesday 08:00-16:30
