We are seeking reliable, professional and passionate Supply Teachers to provide high-quality classroom cover across our primary schools. Whether you are looking for regular work or occasional days to suit your lifestyle, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

  • Create a calm, engaging and purposeful learning environment.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and follow the school's behaviour policy.
  • Support all pupils to access their learning and achieve their best.
  • Mark work completed during the day in line with the school's marking policy, signing all marking as "Supply Teacher" to ensure clarity for monitoring and Ofsted purposes.
  • Leave a clear handover for the class teacher, outlining:
    • Learning completed.
    • Any lessons or activities not covered.
    • Pupils who have excelled or may need additional support.
    • Behaviour, welfare or safeguarding concerns (reported in accordance with school procedures).
    • Any other important information to support a smooth transition when the class teacher returns.
  • Follow all school safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality procedures.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Is confident teaching across the primary age range.
  • Is flexible, organised and able to adapt quickly to different school environments.
  • Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Is committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning every day.
  • Has strong communication skills and works well with pupils, staff and school leaders.

We Offer

  • Flexible working to suit your availability.
  • Opportunities to work across a range of supportive primary schools.
  • Competitive rates of pay.
  • Friendly and professional support.
  • The opportunity to make a real difference to children's learning every day.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check and all pre-employment checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
