Covering Kent, Surrey and Sussex, this is a genuine growth opportunity where you'll initially manage a small caseload of up to five community packages, allowing you the time to build strong clinical relationships while supporting the continued expansion of the service.

This hybrid role offers two days working from home and three days in the community, providing an excellent work-life balance while remaining closely connected to children, families and clinical teams.

The Role As a Paediatric Clinical Lead, you will:

  • Initially manage a caseload of up to five packages, with responsibility growing alongside service expansion.
  • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments, care plans, risk assessments and regular package reviews.
  • Deliver clinical training, competency assessments, supervisions and ongoing support to Healthcare Assistants and Nurses.
  • Support the mobilisation of new complex care packages across the region.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, case managers, commissioners, schools and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure clinical governance, safeguarding and compliance standards are maintained across all packages.
  • Participate in clinical reviews, quality assurance visits and service development initiatives.
  • Support the recruitment, retention and development of high-performing care teams.
  • Promote outstanding clinical outcomes and person-centred care at every stage of the patient journey.

  • Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN or RN Child) with a current NMC registration.
  • At least three years' UK paediatric nursing experience.
  • Recent hands-on experience caring for children with complex clinical needs within the last two years.
  • Clinical experience with tracheostomy care, invasive or non-invasive ventilation, CPAP, BiPAP, enteral feeding and airway management.
  • Previous experience supervising, mentoring or leading clinical teams.
  • Excellent assessment, communication and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
Package & Benefits
  • Salary of 45,000 to 50,000 depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working with two days working from home and three days in the community.
  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
  • 33 days annual leave.
  • Company pension.
  • Laptop and mobile phone.
