Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic, compassionate, and reliable Female Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. You will play a vital role in supporting clients to live safely, comfortably, and independently.

This role involves delivering personal care, medication support, meal preparation, and companionship, including specialist care for individuals living with dementia or receiving end-of-life care.

YOU MUST BE A DRIVER AND OWN YOUR OWN CAR

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
  • Support clients with medication administration as per care plans
  • Prepare meals and support dietary requirements
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Carry out light household tasks to maintain a safe, clean environment
  • Follow individual care plans and report any changes or concerns
  • Deliver specialist care for clients with dementia or those in hospice care
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and the wider care team

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to meet changing client needs and schedules

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Previous experience in domiciliary or residential care
  • Knowledge of basic caregiving principles
  • Experience supporting clients with dementia or complex needs

Full training and ongoing support provided.
